Mettra's designs take inspiration from Japanese culture. They needed someone to tell their unique brand story in a different way. I breathed life into each pattern by creating different stories based on the inspiration for their design. Mountain Buggy wanted to change their brand image to appeal to urban mums on the go. I worked with the branding agency to develop a new brand story and guidelines. This set the foundations from which I wrote the brochure copy, swing tags and POS, as well as a sales handbook for suppliers.

Insurance for the future

NZI offers insurance products through a network of brokers in New Zealand. I worked on the brand development for this suite of insurance policies, including developing copy for two audiences - the brokers selling the products (B2B) and the consumers buying the products (B2C).

These innovative policies offer sustainable solutions to customers that reduce their carbon footprint. The creative team came up with a simple look and feel for the presentation material. I sifted through tonnes of information from the client – reports, surveys, climate change statistics, market analysis (the list goes on) – to hunt out the key messages. From this, I developed the voices for brokers and customers and then wrote a suite of product leaflets, a CD-ROM and letters and information for the brokers.

Organic growth 

When I began working with this client their marketing material was all over the place. We started by taking a step back and deconstructing the brand – separating out the what, where, who and why.

I then developed brand guidelines and built on these to create product copy for a wide variety of items - from tinned tomatoes to peanut butter. I also worked on the branding, copy and buying process for their veggie boxes. This led to the creation of a simple, user-friendly three step online ordering site, which increased orders of veggie boxes over 50%.
